Our Japanese Sencha is a pure green tea from the Otsuka Family who have been cultivating tea for generations. The Sencha leaves can be brewed three or four times and have an amazing refreshing flavour.

Green tea is produced from fresh, unfermented tea leaves. Green tea has a high antioxidant activity because it contains catechins these help boost the immune system and protect the body from damage caused by free radicals.
Green tea contains caffeine but also contains theanine which balances the effects of caffeine. It makes a stimulating drink strengthening awareness and concentration levels without putting up due strain on the nervous system.
Sencha contains significant levels of Vitamin C (250mg per 100g) and is an excellent source of Vitamin E and A.
